Performing with a "a rich, warm tone, impeccable intonation, and [an] appreciation for dynamic shading" (Baltimore Sun), cellist Zlatomir Fung is the Gold Medalist of the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition (2019) as well as 1st-prize winner of the 2018 Schoenfeld International String Competition, the 2017 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, and the 2016 George Enescu International Cello Competition. He has also performed as a soloist with the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, the Santa Cruz Symphony, the Boston Pops, the Lausanne Sinfonietta, the Grand Rapids Symphony, and the New England Philharmonic, among others.
